These Terms of Service govern use of the Brick Science Plus™ website, online educational course, physical products, and related services operated by Brick Science Plus LLC.
By purchasing a product, registering for the course, or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
Eligibility and Age
Direct registration and account use are intended for individuals 13 years of age or older.
Children under 13 may participate only through the parent or legal guardian consent and authorization process established by Brick Science Plus LLC.
A parent or legal guardian who authorizes participation by a minor is responsible for supervising the minor's appropriate use of the course and associated materials.
Youth Safety and Communications
Brick Science Plus™ is committed to maintaining appropriate boundaries between students and members of the Brick Science Plus LLC team.
Brick Science Plus LLC instructors, employees, contractors, team members, and representatives, including Riley Scott, will not engage in private one-on-one communications with any student under 18 years of age.
This policy applies to communications through email, text messaging, telephone calls, video calls, social media direct messages, course-platform messaging, gaming or chat platforms, and other electronic or personal communication channels.
Communications involving a student under 18 must occur through one or more of the following:
- a parent or legal guardian;
- a communication that includes the parent or legal guardian;
- an approved group course or classroom environment where communications are visible to other authorized participants or staff; or
- another Brick Science Plus™ communication system designed to prevent private one-on-one interaction between an adult team member and a minor.
Brick Science Plus LLC team members will not request or encourage students under 18 to contact them through personal email accounts, telephone numbers, social-media accounts, direct messages, or other private communication channels.
If a student under 18 contacts a Brick Science Plus LLC team member privately, the team member will not continue a private conversation. The communication will be redirected to the student's parent or legal guardian or to an approved Brick Science Plus™ communication channel.
Parents and legal guardians are encouraged to contact Brick Science Plus LLC at brickscienceplussupport@gmail.com regarding course questions, technical problems, student concerns, or other matters involving a student under 18.
Nothing in this policy prevents Brick Science Plus LLC from taking appropriate action when necessary to protect the health or safety of a student, comply with applicable law, respond to suspected abuse or neglect, or communicate with law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
Brick Science Plus™ Course
Brick Science Plus™ is an online educational enrichment program intended to encourage building skills, creativity, experimentation, problem-solving, engineering concepts, and an inventor mindset.
The course is provided for educational and recreational purposes. It is not accredited academic instruction, professional engineering instruction, architectural advice, construction advice, or professional certification.
International Availability
The online Brick Science Plus™ course may be purchased and accessed internationally, subject to availability and applicable law.
Physical Brick Science Plus™ kits are shipped only within the United States and Canada.
Customers located outside the United States and Canada who purchase the course are responsible for obtaining their own compatible building materials and equipment.
LEGO® Building Materials
Unless expressly stated in the applicable product description, LEGO® bricks and building elements are not included with Brick Science Plus™ products or course access.
Students may use compatible LEGO® bricks or other suitable building elements they already own.
LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group of companies, which does not sponsor, authorize, or endorse Brick Science Plus LLC, Brick Science Plus™, this website, or the products and courses offered here.
Accounts and Course Access
Course access is intended for the purchaser, enrolled student, or authorized household as specified at purchase.
Users may not reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, share publicly, upload, rebroadcast, or commercially exploit Brick Science Plus™ course materials without written authorization.
Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account credentials.
Intellectual Property
Course videos, curriculum, graphics, written materials, downloads, branding, product designs, instructional content, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Brick Science Plus LLC unless otherwise stated.
Purchasing course access does not transfer ownership of intellectual property to the purchaser.
Safety
Building activities involve small parts, tools, and other materials.
WARNING: CHOKING HAZARD — Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.
Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether course activities and materials are appropriate for their child and for providing supervision when appropriate.
Educational Results
We do not guarantee any particular educational result, skill level, completed project, engineering result, or performance outcome from participation in Brick Science Plus™.
Purchases and Payments
Prices and product availability may change from time to time.
Customers agree to provide accurate billing, account, and order information.
We reserve the right to correct pricing or descriptive errors and, when appropriate, cancel or refund an affected transaction.
Refunds
Purchases are governed by our Return and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms eliminates consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
Prohibited Uses
Users may not misuse the website or course, interfere with website security, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, infringe intellectual-property rights, use our materials for unlawful purposes, or provide false information regarding age or parental authorization.
Third-Party Services
Our website and course may rely on or link to third-party platforms and services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our reasonable control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Brick Science Plus LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages resulting from use of our website, course, products, or services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted unless otherwise required by applicable law.
